Graduated in Audiovisual Communication from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and with a Postgraduate Degree in Cinematography from ESCAC (University of Barcelona, UB), Gemma began her journey in the industry as a still photographer. Although her need to tell stories through light led her to work as a gaffer on fiction projects and music videos, she soon transitioned to the camera department, where she has developed her skills in advertising, documentaries such as Amén, Francisco Responde (Disney+), Sigo Siendo La Misma (Suma Content, Netflix), and feature films. She then transferred her knowledge and experiences to the projects she captures through her perspective as a director of photography.

Throughout her career as a Director of Photography, she has worked on various short films, music videos, and fashion films, both digitally and analogically.
